its a bit sad on one hand but oh goody goody on the other. I bought up big time last month and saved a bomb.
Thanks Marcy... I went, I saw, I did buy YUMMIES!!
yep I know what you're saying Tiff. I feel sad and angst esp if its a shop I like like 3AS closing down but I try to look on the bright side maybe these people have new chapters and adventures awaiting them. I had a friend who recently closed her doors a nd to be honnest I was relieved for her I would never had believed how much work and how much sacrifice goes on to run an online store esp from your house unless Id seen it. This girl had eaten, slept and breathed her store 24 hrs a day for 2 years I knew she'd fall on her feet and her kids would be better off for having all there mums attention back. Thats whenI decided I only want to work in someones store, not own it! LOL
Thanks so much Marcy, Tiff and Mistra for your kind comments and support. Yes, it is an all-consuming thing running a home-based business, although lots of fun in the most part. It was humming along beautifully until the "World Financial Crisis" hit in October 2007, when it fell down in a screaming heap almost overnight. We persevered, probably about 6 months too long, but at least we did give it a good chance to see if things picked back up. Alas no, it's time to move on. We've still got heaps of cool stuff, and the best service around - shame it wasn't enough to keep us afloat! So, tell all your friends and help me get my house/garage/life back! Thanks again, xx michelle
