NEED SOME OPINIONS....

Here the latest ....
Pictures are very ordinary ...
these %&$*%#  stinking cameras in this house are driving me nuts.
It took me 2 hours of fiddling with photos to correct them!!!! LOL
I'm too scared to get them fixed cause of the $$$ factor!!!
Anyhoo, whinge over.

What I want is your opinion on the valentines card I made.... too much? Less is more its not a concept I grasp easily! LOL I do though admire and envy the heck out of people
who can create beautiful art, tell a story and make it look devine without clutter....
halllooo, she who makes me swoon with envy..... NAT :)

Or like the layouts of one of my long time  favourite funny scrappers...Leanne Ryan.
what ever happened to her, dont see her crackin me up on the last page of Scrapbook Creations anymore...terrible shame it was the first place I'd go when I excitedly opened that mag
I'd absolutely love it if someone had a blog addy for her?

Ooops I digress.....
I was a bit so so on the string round the hearts?
I was trying to convey the sentiment that hubby was king of my heart
and our two hearts were joined ...forever...sigh!
( ya only get 25 years for murder.....ahhh ...umm ...the poor man!)

PRODUCTS USED:
Bazzil Cardstock & In stitchz template, Collage Press & BG PP and doily,Tim Holtz Grungeboard swirl texture and flourishes, paint, Tim Holtz clear accents, supersized playing card, Dimensional magic, German scrap Trim, Kaiser Rubons, Maya Road Mists,
 Inks and embroidery threads.

Anyway they were fun to make (two days!!! LOL)  Thank heavens for my Valentine who feed and watered us all as I was "on task"!!! He really puts up with a lot for so very little...the sweet man!
There were three cards originally but the third ummmm....is still drying!!! It became a bizzaire experiment in mixed medium
Not sure you'll see it! LOL

The attention span is abit lacking tonight (or maybe its "Hamish and Andy" podcasts in the background cracking me up and distracting me!LOL) so I'll make it a short one......

you must go, look and at least drool a little!!!

this is a little devine collabration between
two of my FAVOURITE artists Ngari Bartlam and Jill Greharty-Groves.
This pair share a lovely friendship, the two of them
as a united artistic force would out rival Huricane Katrina
How lovely to hear they are working together...
I CANNOT IMAGINE how much fun these two girls must be having!

I have been thinking about doing stuff to take to the local markets.
(Doing alot of pondering...pondered away the whole of last year actually!)
I dont "do" people and crowds real well so maybe etsys the way to go?
Would love to hear about others experiences ...email me if you have the time?

FINALLY....

(***************DRUMROLL*************)

Marcy, you already know by my comments on 3AS how much I love, LOVE, L.O.V.E these cards (scratch cards, and insert little works of art)
These are divine.
I got the symbolism of the hearts straight away and not over the top.
But what it comes down to is this, do YOU like them and does the recipient like them...I reckon I could borrow money and bet that they did!!!!
and I miss Leanne as well!
There are quite a few scrappers going AWOL.

I do get a bit hung up on specifics sometimes but now theres no LSS here anymore which means I dont scrap with anyone anymore so I dont get that feedback. Oh except when I tourture one of the family to look and that works best cause usually the right thing to do is the opposite of what they suggest! LOL Mini art works eh what an awesome compliment... might have to one and have a give away!

Marcy, you do such intricate work. It;s amazing, almost like looking at a little canvas of art when I see your stuff. Loved the card, loved the card on the card. LOL!! I haven't scrapped with anyone since Keepit, so I understand the lack of feedback thing. If you aren't sure about the card though...............send it to me!! I will be your Valentine. PMSL
