LAST WEEKEND IN A NUT (TY) SHELL

FIRST
There was this:

For the 3 angels CC

based on this...
by the lovely Susan
&

then on saturday this....

 HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY CONNOR

These two pictures were taken Saturay morning connor playing his present ..
a new PS2 game "Rachet & Clank".
then altered according to a 3 angels scrapping CC

challenge by the lovely...

Thats as far as I got because I have a ....less than average printer. Although I am going to have a crack at printing them on transparency (printer will do that!but only in B&W LOL) and hand painting them with .... you guessed it alcohol inks!

Also did this:

BASED on:
the lushious susan longman's
EMBELLISHMENT CHALLENGE
for this mini challenge and thinking recycling I would like you to create a unique embellishment out of old book paper. For my sample I have made a little library tag pocket out of old dictionary paper , stamped and glimmermisted...these I made for a swap lets see what you can make.

So even though mine says newspaper its actually 100 year old  Readest digest novel pages...It is being used as an embellishment on a page I am doing now which will explain why my wee lil birdy is called Jill! LOL
I also did her bird of a feather friend:

Then Saturday night, off to:
tea with our lovely friends Merle and Graham (geez someone should take our kids out more often ...large appitites, no table manners and an obsessive curiosity to "explore" every room of someone elses house even after its explained to them how impolite that is!) Merle and Graham were brilliant with them and took it all in stride feeding us salt & pepper squid, spring rolls and prawn cutlets for beginners then Roast Turkey and baked veg for main and Pavolova with bannanas and blueberries for sweets! OH LORDY IT WAS GOOOOD AND I WENT HOME HAPPY N FULL!!!

Then Sunday:
OUR ELDEST SON, DANIEL OFF TO
 1ST WARHAMMER 40K TOURNAMENT
8am -6pm!!!!

(at which he came 8th out of 25 men and recieved an encouragement award including a framed certificate and $75 gift voucher!!! WOW!)

 Then
KNOCKED OURSELVES SIDEWAYS CLEANING UP FOR:

GRANDMA &  PA FOR CONNOR's  BIRTHDAY LUNCH

Then a beautiful rainy day got
rainier ...

(I know no such word lets say ...
its marc speak for absoutely P'ing down!)

and rainier

and even
more rainier and

we got this:

then this week,
we've found the dry ground again and

we've started sprouting these:

I'm scared to think what may be on
the agenda for this weekend!!!
