ATC THEME- TREES
Tim Holtz stamp (cityscape background), Tree stamp, transparency, Smooch ink, Derivan gel medium and German scrap border.
Based on a "serious" poem by Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree."- Joyce Kilmer,
1886-1918, Trees

I've become a fan of Mr Nash's sense of humour.
 Here's a couple:

Children aren't happy with nothing to ignore,
And that's what parents were created for.- Ogden Nash
I am a conscientious man, when I throw rocks at seabirds, I leave no tern unstoned
- Ogden Nash

SALE- O.... SALE- O
There some great new years bargains to be had around at the moment . I thought I'd better not keep them to myself any longer....

Still have a massive 70% off storewide sale on.

Allcraftz have a huge 50% off storewide inc. new BG.

Credit card purchases only.

This is 50% off selected lines sale including :

Opal embossing enamels
*(I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!)

If your are in the market for opals, snap these up as I did an afternoons research yesterday
(tough job but someone had to peruse the sales!) and these are very hard to find. I only found them in two other places and in one they were selling for 17.95 a bottle!!!

Lastly and very interestingly I found these...

I thought the ATC gals out there would love this. I wish I had a library of these!!!

Also here...
I bought some ez mount to put all my unmounted rubber stamps onto. It makes your rubber stamps like for example the hero art clingback stamps mucho important on really big stamps to get an even impression. I filled 4 a4 sheets and I still need probably one or two more sheets!!!
The stuff I used was called EZ mount but it lied!
It should be called tediously-sticky- gum up your sissors - make you swear mount!!!

 I started cutting them out at the beginning of the movie and finished 3/4 of the way through the late movie!!!

Anyway back to the stamps story so I have all my reds on cling back  and...

now I just read there in a see through product that itself clings to the block and the stamp hangs onto it and you just change stamps at will.

TSUKINEKO TACK N PEEL
(did a search and read some great review by customers who have used it)

Apparently, when it looses its stick you wash it with soap and violia back in business. Kinda like the kids stick hand toys! This...sigh...sounds heaps easier than mounting a hundred stamps!!! So I am now a little more organized the rubber stamps are on shiny folders I bought from big W as a rip off of the expensive scrapbooking version.

I also took three days and reorganized my 7 Gypsies revolving carousel into sections and cut down some big sleeves and sewed them converting them into little single or mini stamp size e.g. Prima single clear stamp or Prima "the goods" stamp size or BG bitsy stamp size I don't have allot of room left maybe about 20 stamps worth left but so far mainly single sided I have 114 single stamps on it. I am a bit visual so if it isn't in front of me I usually forget to use it. So the carousel is brilliant it sits on the bench in font of me saying "come use me Marcy" LOL

ONE LAST THING .....
The late night movie was called Trapped". It was about a gang of kid kidnappers who come unstuck when they pick the wrong family to mess with. That was about the gist of it. It was pretty good, stared Kevin Bacon, gosh he plays a bad nasty bady!!! A  grays anatomy Izzy look alike (duno if it was her) but she used some "surgical" skills in the movie to cut poor old Kevvys character where it would hurt a bloke most!!!Then there was fake Izzy's husband some bloke I didnt know but he was really good
and ....Courtney Love
(who I have to admit despite her being her, her acting wasn't Garbage! Pouty was an understatment ... anymore collegen in those lushious lips of hers and she'd look like
an orangatang backing up to you puckering!!!
Pause...
Okay take a minute to form a visual..... LOL)

I enjoyed the movie but had one small problem though....
the last 15 minutes of it ...silent movie!
No sound !!! ARGHHHH!!!!
so if anyone watched it ...

I know what happened to Kevvy but not the other kidnappers
Courtney and the big bozo Cousin

so if you could PM me I really appreciate it! LOL

:)
